Implant Supported Bridges and Dentures

Dental Implants can provide incredible options to patients with missing teeth.  No one understands that better than the person who has suffered the loss of their teeth and has been living with loose and ill-fitting dentures.  When these patients finally have dental implants successfully placed and restored, with great functioning teeth, they can once again move forward in life in a confident and healthy manner.  A life without pain and discomfort is the objective outcome of implant supported teeth.

Dental Implants are made of titanium, the only true bio-compatible metal available.  Bio-compatibility means the surrounding bone will actually grow into and attach to the implant.

Once an implant is placed it typically requires between 12 and 16 weeks for full integration.

At this point, fixed bridges and implant supported dentures can be fully loaded into function.

The whole idea of “teeth in a day” is a myth...honest, ethical dental surgeons should explain, in detail, this process  and the time required to their patients.

If a patient is in reasonably good health and has adequate bone they are typically good candidates for dental implants.  Many options are available to these patients where dental implants can provide a lifetime of comfort and function.

Bridges and Dentures may require anywhere from two to six implants to provide the support necessary to construct a stable bite.  The various options must be explored to find the solution for the most esthetic options available for the patient.

Providing full-mouth rehabilitation utilizing dental implants is one of the most exciting treatments we provide at Plaza Dental Implants.
